- Open the Telegram app.
- Tap the Chats tab.
- Type the channel’s name in the search bar.
- Find it in the results and tap Join.
The channel will show up in your chats tab. You’ll be notified whenever the channel gets updated.
How to Join a Channel in Telegram on an Android Device
If you’re an Android user, joining a channel on Telegram is a breeze. The steps are different if you only have a topic in mind or know the name of the channel you want to join.
If you only have a topic in mind, follow the steps below to find and join the right channel:
- Visit the Telegram Channels website. You’ll find all channels grouped into broad topics.
- Select the topic you’re interested in.
